PURCHASING OFFICE MISSION STATEMENT:
Provide efficient and effective procurement support to the University. Within that
mission, the Purchasing Office shall:
- Provide efficient and economical procurement of goods and services for the University
within State, UW System and Campus laws, rules and guidelines in accordance with good
business practices.
- Provide timely and accurate guidance for the campus community on those procurement
transactions which are within their own control, under the guidelines set by the
Purchasing Office.
- Provide economical and timely disposition of excess property in accordance with State,
System and Campus rules and guidelines.
