nVision requires the user to have SFS installed on their Desktop  (Installing SFS).  PS nVision is a powerful and flexible spreadsheet based reporting tool.

The standard nVision reports are budget summary reports which include budget, expenditure and encumbrance data.  These reports are updated nightly and are available at the fund/division and fund/major department level.  These reports allow the user to drill down from summary data to detail transactions.  The Auxiliary financial reports are also available in nVision.  As new campus specific reports are developed we will add this information to this website.

The nVision Reporting Manual can assist you in navigating to these reports.  In addition, we are currently working on enhancements to the UWMIL nVision panel which should help users find the specific reports they are looking for.

UW-System has developed several queries and reports which are available to nVision users.  These reports are listed in Queries on nVision Reports.

Requesting nVision Authorization

Requests for inquiry access to SFS should be directed to the Controller's Office sfs@bfs.uwm.edu from the Unit Business Representatives.

All requests should include the user's full name and their 3270 ID (if they have one). Users will be given general inquiry access to GL, AP and PO transactions, as well as access to nVision financial reports.
