Tuition and Fees - Fall 2007
Financial Aid Distribution and Refunds


Fees are Due: AUGUST 24, 2007

Regardless of the Class Start Date

A Financial Aid Award for Fall 2007 of at least $200.00
 prevents cancellation of registration.

The award must be visible on PAWS by August 23, 2007



Financial Aid Distribution

On August 27, 2007, awarded financial aid will begin to post to student accounts. Financial aid is credited toward your tuition, fees and other Fall 2007 fees visible on PAWS. Any financial aid money in excess of your tuition payment is mailed to your PAWS MAILING address.

If you wish to have any excess aid pay other charges or prior semester tuition and fees you must sign a Financial Aid Authorization Form . The completed form must be returned to the Accounts Receivable Office or Cashiers Office prior to your financial aid posting to your account.

You are responsible for paying any portion of your tuition not covered by your financial aid by the due date of August 24, 2007 to avoid any late payment fees or finance charges. If your financial aid does not pay your total tuition and fees, you will be automatically placed on the Installment Payment Plan.  Students placed on the Installment Payment Plan are required to complete the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Credit Agreement with Wisconsin Marital Property Application.


Financial Aid Refunds

The Cashiers Office will begin mailing Fall 2007 excess financial aid checks Wednesday, August 29, 2007.

Keep your PAWS MAILING address current. All checks will be mailed to your active mailing address.

The Cashiers Office will gladly replace your mailed and undelivered financial aid excess check no earlier than 14 days after the mailing date.
