Installment Payment Plan and UWM Credit Agreement Spring 2008

The UWM Installment Payment Plan is offered as an alternative to using high interest credit cards to pay tuition and fees. The Installment Payment Plan is available for the Fall and Spring semesters to all students who cannot pay their tuition and fees in full by the due date. There is no membership fee. Finance charges of 1% per month will be assessed on any unpaid balance.

Those students wishing to take advantage of the Installment Payment Plan are required to sign a University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Credit Agreement and Wisconsin Marital Property Act Credit Application .

Return the completed and signed forms to Accounts Receivable Office, Mitchell 295 or mail the form to:

University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee
Accounts Receivable Office

PO Box 413
Milwaukee, WI 53201
- 0413

NOTE: Law requires that individuals be 18 years old or older to sign the UWM Credit Agreement. If you will not be 18 years old by January 11, 2008  (the Spring 2008 semester tuition due date), your parent/legal guardian must complete the form with your student information and sign their name. Your parent/legal guardian must also complete and sign the Wisconsin Marital Property Act Credit Application Form. Both of these completed and signed forms should be sent to the Accounts Receivable Office. When you turn 18 years old, you are then required to sign a set of these forms yourself.

Spring 2008 Installment Plan Due Dates

  • January 11, 2008: A minimum of $200.00 plus all past due amounts to avoid cancellation of registration for non-payment and activate the Installment Payment Plan.

  • February 7, 2008:  Pay at least 50% of the tuition/fee balance.

  • March 6, 2008:  The remaining account balance for Spring 2008. Accounts not paid in full by March 6th will have a Bursar's Hold (BUR) placed on the account. This hold restricts initial registration for the next term, release of transcripts and diploma.

The February 7th and March 6th  installment due dates will not show on PAWS under due charges. In PAWS, navigate to self service>campus finances>select webcheck or credit card and pay 50% of the Spring 2008 term balance.

Future term due dates will be posted on each term's Fee Facts as they become available.

Questions regarding the Installment Payment Plan and the UWM Credit Agreement may be e-mailed or call (414) 229-4914.
