Tuition and Fees -
Spring 2008
Due
Date All Spring 2008 tuition and fees are due in full on January 11, 2008. All earlier amounts due plus Spring 2008 fees must be paid and credited to your student account no later than January 11, 2008. If you pay
all financial obligations with a due date prior to January 11, 2008
plus at least $200.00 against your Spring 2008 fees by
January 11, 2008, you will be placed on the
Installment Payment
Plan and required to complete
the Any account that
has not been paid in full by the 3rd Installment Payment Plan due
date will have a Bursar hold placed on the account. This hold restricts initial
enrollment, transcripts, and other services around campus. Installment Plan Due Dates January 11, 2008:
A
minimum of $200.00 plus all past due amounts to avoid cancellation of
registration for non-payment and activate the
Installment Payment
Plan. 2nd Installment is due. February 7,
2008: Pay at least 50% of the
tuition/fee balance. The 2nd & 3rd installment due date will not show on PAWS under due charges. In PAWS, navigate to Main Menu>Self Service>Campus Finances> Spring 2008 and pay 50% of the term balance. 3rd Installment is due. March 6, 2008: The remaining account balance for the term is due. Payment
Methods. Minimum
Payment Required Hold Students not
registered for Spring 2008 by December 28, 2007 and
do not have a processed qualified exemption of Cancellation of Registration will
have a Minimum Payment Required Hold placed on their
account. This hold
requires that all financial obligations with a due date prior to January 11th plus a minimum of
$200.00 be paid to your student account before you will be allowed to register
for Spring 2008. Auditors with a
balance less than $200.00 must pay full fees by January 11, 2008. After paying
full auditor�s fees that are less than $200.00, contact the
Cashiers or Account
Receivable Offices to have the minimum payment hold removed.
When paying your
minimum payment by webCheck or Credit Card the
PAWS screens may show $0.00
due. Simply type in the amount that you want to pay and complete the
transaction. The hold will be
removed within 2 hours after your PAWS account shows a $200.00 credit
balance. Cancellation
of Registration for Non-Payment
E-Mail Warning
(At Risk for Cancellation of
Registration) Approximately
ten days before the January 11, 2008 due date, all registered students who have
not met the minimum payment requirement or have an exemption from cancellation
of registration will receive a warning e-mail. This warning e-mail will be sent
to the student's PantherMail account. The e-mail will contain information as of
a current date. This date will be stated in the e-mail. PAWS
reflects your most current
information. View
PAWS to see if your account
now meets the requirements for exemption from cancellation. If not, immediately
pay all financial obligations with a due date prior to January 11th plus a minimum of
$200.00 to avoid cancellation of registration. Notification of
Cancellation of Registration Should your
registration be cancelled, a Bursar Cancellation for Non-Payment HOLD
will be placed on your account. Students will
receive correspondence from the Bursars Office that their registration has been
cancelled for non-payment. What to Do After
Cancellation of Registration You must pay all
financial obligations with a due date prior to January 11, 2008 plus a minimum of
$200.00 toward Spring 2008 fees for the hold to be
lifted. Payments or
exemptions received after cancellation do not automatically register you in your
original schedule of classes. You will need to register for classes. There is no
guarantee that you will be able to get in the same classes that you had before
cancellation. A $50.00 Late
Registration Fee will be assessed to your account. This fee will appear on your
account after registration. After
registering, all tuition and fees with a due date of January 11, 2008 are
immediately due. If you are unable to pay in full, you will be placed on the
Installment Payment Plan
and required to complete the Exemptions from
Cancellation of Registration The $200.00
minimum payment is not required by January 11, 2008 from students who have a
qualifying exemption from cancellation. Qualifying
exemptions are:
1.
Have accepted a Spring
2008 Financial Aid Award of at least $200.00 by January, 2008. The award
must be visible on PAWS.
2.
Have accepted at least a
33% Graduate Appointment as a Teaching, Project or Research Assistant and
enrolled in the minimum credit requirement of your current status
in order for the fee remission to be visible on your PAWS account. (If you are
unable to register because of a minimum payment required hold, contact your
appointing department.)
3.
Have registered for Fall
2007 classes and submitted a Payroll Deduction Authorization of at least
$200.00 to the Accounts Receivable Office by Spring, 2008.
4.
Have a
3rd Party
Agreement authorizing payment of at least $200.00 submitted to the Accounts
Receivable Office by January 11, 2008.
5.
Have WI Veterans, Athletic, Music
Clinic, Not all remissions qualify for exemption
from cancellation. If your remission is not
listed, then decide if you have an actual qualifying exemption or pay all
financial obligations with a due date prior to January 11th plus at least $200.00 by
January 11, 2008. If you receive
one of the exemptions after cancellation of registration for non-payment,
contact the
Accounts Receivable or
Cashiers Office
should your
hold not automatically be removed within one business day. | ||||||||
