How to Make a Payment on PAWS


Please see the Payment Methods and returned Checks section for new PAWS online payment information.

Use the following information to assist you in making a web payment for charges on your PAWS account. Click on the following link from the Student Center (Home Page) in PAWS:

  • Make a Payment

If you wish to use multiple credit cards or bank accounts to pay off your balance, you will need to submit multiple transactions.
 

Step 1. Select Payment Method.

Choose either Electronic Check or Credit Card.

  • A 2.5% convenience fee is assessed on all credit card transactions made before July 1, 2009. All online payment transactions (including webCheck payments) will be assessed a $6.00 convenience fee beginning July 1, 2009
  • Only American Express and MasterCard credit cards are accepted before July 1, 2009.
  • VISA, American Express, and MasterCard credit cards will be accepted on PAWS beginning July 1, 2009.
  • Click NEXT.

Step 2. Specify Payment Details.

Credit Card Payments

  • Enter your credit card details.
  • You must complete all available fields.
  • Double check your information for accuracy.
  • Click NEXT.

Electronic Check Payments

  • Payments made from your bank account require your bank account information.
  • Enter Bank Account Type, Routing Number and Account Number.
  • Do not enter a check number.
  • See the example below.
  • Double check your information for accuracy.
  • Incorrect information may result in a $20.00 Returned Check fee assessed on your PAWS account.
  • Click NEXT.

Step 3. Specify Payment Amount.

  • Enter the amount you wish to pay.
  • A 2.5% convenience fee is assessed on all credit card transactions made before July 1, 2009.  All online payment transactions (including webCheck payments) will be assessed a $6.00 convenience fee beginning July 1, 2009.
  • No additional fees are assessed for Electronic Check payments made before July 9, 2009.
  • Double check your payment amount for accuracy.
  • Click NEXT.

Step 4. Confirm Payment.

  • You can change the amount you wish to pay and change payment details here.
  • Enter your birthdate. This is the student's birthdate.
  • Review the Payment Summary for accuracy.
  • Click SUBMIT.

Step 5. Payment Result.

  • Confirmation Details are presented on this page.
  • Electronic Check payments have not cleared your bank at this time. You will need to view your bank information for actual date of withdrawal.
  • Click on View Confirmed Payment to see the amount posted to your PAWS account.
